On Sunday, 11th April 2010, our Sanstha has successfully organised Blood Donation Camp at Shri Harigurugraam (IES-New English School, Govt colony, Bandra – west, Mumbai)
There were a total of 27 Blood Banks, and total blood donation count was 3083 Units.
In this camp, our Sanstha has made arrangements for Charkha-Seva for such rejected donors so that they can also have a feeling of participating in the camp. The spindled threads that are obtained from Charkha are used to make school uniforms for the under-privileged children near Virar, Vasai, Shahapur and Kolhapur.
